The ‘GATO’ project analysed the variety of applications for PNA (National Food Programme) tenders, thanks to an agreement with the DRAAF Occitanie. It looked at the governance dynamics that structured 5 territorial food projects with different challenges and degrees of maturity. 2 were led by local authorities, the towns of Albi and Castelnaudary, and 3 by “groups of local authorities”: the Greater Narbonne conurbation, the PETR Pays Coeur d’Hérault and the Pôle territorial de l’Albigeois et des Bastides. It also examined the emergence of new players in the processing and supply of food for collective catering, vegetable processing units, and stakeholders’ involvement in the fight against social exclusion. The findings of these various studies were presented at a webinar open to the people surveyed and to all the TFP project managers in the Occitanie region.
