Journals

INRAE publishes and co-publishes a number of journals aimed at a wide readership: scientific, professional, voluntary, political, educational and general public communities. They are a rich source of knowledge applied to the issues facing our world today and in the future.

Ressources: this is INRAE’s journal for the general public. Each issue presents three dossiers dealing with social issues, developed from the Institute’s research work (three issues per year).

Nov’ae “Innovative engineering and know-how”: the articles in this journal present technical achievements, protocols, prototypes and methodologies, often original, designed and implemented by the Institute within the framework of research programmes. The majority of contributors are from the technical staff, although scientists also publish in the journal (articles are published on an ongoing basis or in special issues).

Sciences Eaux & territoires: the scientific and technical articles in this journal are intended to contribute to the process of action and decision-making in the field of regional development and the environment. The journal covers major issues such as water and waste management, natural hazards, global change and its impacts, and new risk situations resulting from global change. Articles are written by scientists and practitioners working in the sustainable management of regions and the environment (articles are published on an ongoing basis or in themed issues).

Sésame: this is the journal of the Agrobioscience-INRAE mission, a national centre for the mediation and investigation of controversies. Articles focus on weak signals and analyse the tensions affecting society in the domains of agriculture, food, rural areas, the environment and life sciences and techniques (published twice a year).
