Public policy support is at the heart of INRAE’s activity and covers a wide range of skills and work carried out by research units and/or dedicated in-house or partnership structures.

INRAE’s Public Policy Support Division (DAPP) is a research support division at the service of the institution’s scientists and teams involved in public policy support. It is also close to the public services responsible for these policies: ministries and associated departments, funding agencies and local authorities, etc. In this way, it acts as a go-between to facilitate public policy support and better meet or anticipate public needs in terms of scientific knowledge.

The DAPP manages the HAL “Appui aux politiques publiques” (Public Policy Support) collection, which brings together INRAE publications for and/or about public policies relating to agriculture, food and the environment. It aims to reference INRAE publications produced and/or financed by the Institute’s public policy partners.
