The research-action project ‘L’assiette et le territoire’ (the plate and the region) brings together INRAE, the Monts d’Ardèche RNP and the Pays de l’Ardèche méridionale, as well as two association networks: the CIVAMs and the Pétales07 collective. The study of the transition of the local agri-food system in the centre-south Ardèche took a number of forms: path analyses, design workshops, public meetings on collective catering, etc. The project collective, made up of 25 people representing the various links in the local food system, has co-written a historical analysis of the trajectory of this system, a manifesto entitled Pour une transition agri-alimentaire juste et écologique en sud Ardèche (For a fair and ecological agri-food transition in southern Ardèche) identifying the major issues at stake in this transition, and a film recounting the research-action. It is also behind a now annual local food forum.
