Methodology to support the social feasibility of projects & participation engineering for the PIA TIGA INRAE

The aim of the “Territoires d’Innovation de Grande Ambition” (TIGA) programmes, which cover a wide range of themes and the whole of France, is to compare and place innovation at the heart of the initiatives taken by local and regional players to bring about change. These territorial innovation laboratories are the result of bringing together institutional players, socio-economic players and civil society, and are committed to proposing participatory engineering capable of overcoming the pitfalls documented in decision-making. Integrating digital technology and hybrid forms of distance and face-to-face communication are trends that call for a different approach to designing and implementing these systems.
In this context, the aim of the ParTIGA project is to prepare the methodological and practical conditions to support these future investment programmes in the intensification of citizen participation by building on this experience and continuing to develop it.
