The FormPhyto project is launching three training courses in early 2027 to help you gain and develop your skills in identifying, observing and counting phytoplankton organisms.
This issue is important for those responsible for managing watercourses and bodies of water, particularly in relation to the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and the assessment of aquatic environment quality using the IPLAC and IBML indicators. This training course therefore offers professionals from laboratories, research institutes, drinking water treatment plants, water authorities, local authorities and engineering firms the opportunity to meet scientific experts and learn from them.
The program offers three training courses on the University of Bordeaux campus, with the support of the FTLV department of the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Pôle ECLA :
- Learn about phytoplankton and the implementation of IPLAC (31 May to 4 June 2027);
- Learn how to observe and count planktonic and benthic cyanobacteria (12–15 January 2027);
Registration is now open!
